Scenario

Mr. Deeds Goes to Town. The premise is that schemers trying to get their handon money inherited by Longfellow Deeds seek to have him committed as insane. Two sisters Jane and AmyFaulkner have known Deeds his whole life and are asked at his sanity hearing what people in the community think about him.

• Below are are the types of character evidence provided at the sanity hearing. Would each of these types of evidence be admissable? Why or why not?

1) "The people in the community thing he is "pixulated" Pixulated mean Someone who's pixilated is a bit mischievous and eccentric

2) "Mr Deeds walks in the rain without his hat and talks to himself"

3) "Mr Deeds whistles and sings"

4) "Everytime Mr Deeds sees Chuck Dillon (neighbor), he gives him a thumping"

5) "You can never tell what Mr Deeds is going to do next"
