Service Agreement
The purpose of this agreement is to document the following service delivery of Boambee Youth Services to provide Early intervention programs that cover mental health services with the following:
1. Ten youth require support in alcohol and other drugs.
2. Five youth seeking accommodation support (mixed genders)
3. Two youth requiring educational support
2. The Service Provider will offer a range of service types that can be used singly or in a range of combinations to suit the young people's needs including mental health services, educational support, crisis accommodation and programs addressing risk taking behaviours such as alcohol and other drugs.
3. Boambee Youth Services will provide details of services, costs, policies, and procedures and other relevant information as an attachment to this service agreement by way of Schedules.
Outcomes are to have a 60% success rate in service delivery. The buildings have been provided for the services by the local council and local businesses. There are ten beds in an accommodation section and various rooms that can be utilised both for classes and counselling. Stakeholders that are involved are: the education department, justice department, Local council, community and local business and other agencies including the Men's shed. And mobile outreach services that attend from the capital city on a regular basis.
You are included in the hiring of the staff for the services and the funding requirements say that any staff hired for the provision of services will need to have a minimum tertiary qualification for each of the programs that you are running. Within each of the programs that you are providing there are also individual skills and mini workshops that are also available to be used through other services such as: cooking, hygiene, reading writing, woodworking, craft include sewing and mending and other skills. There have been no assessments gathering of any risk-taking behaviours currently. This will need to be addressed.
