Scenario:

You are working with a group of fellow Penn Staters to make bag lunches available for curbside pickup outside the local library. The lunches are free to those in need in the local community.

You must decide on a simple lunch menu that includes the following:

• Sandwich
• Bag of chips
• Fruit
• Cookies
• Drink

You decide the type of sandwich, chips, fruit, cookies and drink. Assume that local philanthropists have donated money for the food. You must figure out the "who, what, where, when, and how" of your operation. (You already know the "why" - feeding people.)

Steps to follow:

• Organize your answers using business functions as the headers and business processes within each function as the content
• Research business processes associated with food catering/sandwich shops
• Group processes according to business functions such as finance, production and distribution, sales and marketing, human resources, and etc.)
• Answer the questions "who, what, where, when, and how"

Below are examples of questions that must be answered:

• Where and when will the lunches be made?
• Who will make the lunches?
• Where, how, who, and when will you get the ingredients? (You are NOT sourcing any items for this exercise.All items are somehow ordered and delivered to delivered
• How many workers do you need and what are their duties/responsibilities?
• Who will be in charge of the funds?What procedures are necessary to handle purchases?

Requirements:

• Organize your answers using business functions as the headers and business processes within each function as the content
• Describe the "who, what, where, when, & how" of your lunch operation in terms of standard business processes.
• Each section should have a heading (function), a description of that part of the lunch operation, and bullet points following the paragraph to convey the details of the operation.
• Expected length is single-spaced, 12-pt font. (Longer is fine; shorter is probably inadequate.)
• Citations can be clickable links, but in-text citation must be included
• ex) Doc only drives VW bugs (DocFacts.com).
