1. There are many popularly held beliefs and stereotypes about schizophrenia. List two beliefs that you can think of.

2. On a scale of 0 to 10, with 0 being "not at all" and 10 being "absolutely accurate," how accurate do you think each of the beliefs are? Rank each individually.

3. How do you think schizophrenia is diagnosed?

Summary

Based upon your Report Back exercise, what have you learned about the general perception others have about schizophrenia and its diagnoses? What beliefs were correct and what inaccuracies did you note? Are any of the beliefs or stereotypes mentioned by your volunteers applicable to dissociative disorders? If so, which ones?
