School counselors are licensed/certified to work with grades P-12. This means you can apply for a specific grade level, but administrators can move you around to other levels. In this Discussion select a group based on youridealstudent population. Throughout this module, you will be working within this group, but we encourage you to read the Discussion threads of the other group to continue to expand your knowledge and skill set throughout the course. This will ensure that you are moving toward excellence to be able to serve all of your wonderful students!

• Identify your grade levels within your group that you would like to work with as a future school counselor and explain why.
• Identify the school counselor roles as described in the ASCA national model you might enjoy performing when working with this age group and explain why.
