Seagate Shn Bhd is a medium sized company that sells and leases computers. The company is currently experiencing rapid growth evidenced by increased turnover. The existing financial systems are struggling to cope with the increase in customer demand and the directors have assessed and identified a ERP software package to replace the old software which is due to be installed within the next six months. To oversee the installation, the company has set up a Project Steering Group comprising of the department heads. Although the new system does not fit exactly the companys existing business processes. it was justified partly because it adopts industry best practice and would integrate all the companys business processes
