Section 11, Every person is competent to contract who is of the age of majority according to the law to which he is subject, and who is of sound mind, and is not disqualied from contracting by any law to which he is subject. Age of Majority Act 1971, states that the age of majority is 18 years old. Anyone below 18 years is regarded as a minor.
