(i) GINGER TULSI LTD. acquired a patent at a cost of 80,00,000 on April 1,2019. The company started amortizing the asset at 5,00,000 per annum since 31st March 2021. Since 31st March 2022, the company started amortizing the asset as per Ind AS 38. On 31st March, 2023, it was found that the product life-cycle may continue for another 5 years from then. The net cash flows from the product during another 5 years are expected to be 36,00,000,46,00,000,44,00,000,40,00,000 and 34,00,000. On 31st March, 2025, it is felt that no further benefit will accrue in the future. Pass the necessary journal entry to record Amortization of Cost of Patent as per Ind AS 38 for the year 2021-2022 to 2024-2025.
