Selasie recently acquired the following items and now seeks your advice about any remedies he might have, and any legal issues that might arise, as a result of the following problems:

a.A Samsung LED television set which he purchased at GHc6,000.00 from Electroland Ghana located at Spintex Road, Accra. The TV never worked but because of the pressures of work he only managed to return it to the store 12 months later.

b.A new Samsung Galaxy Tablet valued at GHC3,500.00 which he bought from the same store as the television. This also never worked.

c.A second-hand Rolex wristwatch which he bought from Kantamanto and paid GHC300.00 via Mtn mobile moneu. It was described in the advertising leaflet as follows: "it is waterproof and keeps excellent time". When he took it home, he realized that it was not waterproof and it loses more than 1 minute in time every week.

d.A dinner shirt for a party he was planning. In a rush, he picked up the wrong size from the shelf.

e.Some roofing tiles from a local builders? merchant. The tiles were mostly cracked and unusable. Selasie was in a hurry when he bought them and only had a quick look at them. He did not notice they were cracked.
