Select a company or organization with which you are familiar. Typically, this organization would be a company for which you have worked or are working for currently. Alternatively, you could use a restaurant or a store where you can make observations. Describe four different internal controls that are in place at the organization which you have selected. (Refer to your textbook for types of internal controls.) If it is a large organization, choose to describe the internal controls in just a department or area with which you are familiar. Be sure to describe what the internal control is, how it works, and what it is designed to protect. Important note about confidentiality: Do not disclose information that is highly sensitive or confidential.
