When responding to this week's discussion topic, apply the three international law principles, Comity of Nations, Act of State Doctrine, and Sovereign Immunity (Lee, n.d., "Topic 11: International Law & Ethics, 11.2 General Principles of International Law"). Additionally, apply the ethical issues and dilemmas affecting businesses engaging in both domestic and global trade. One key principle to be cognizant of is corporate social responsibility and the ethical philosophical theories discussed in our text as they relate to the business community (Lee, n.d.).

Additionally, be sure you keep at the forefront this week the four ethical philosophies as they affect the week five topics. They are found in our text (1) utilitarianism, (2) Kantianism, (3) social justice theory, and (4) virtue ethics (Lee, n.d., "Topic 11: International Law & Ethics, 11.1 Foundational Ethical Philosophies Guiding Business").

In conclusion, the recent current events of major concern are (1) the White House Gender Policy Council meeting with National Security Council Asia and (2) Ukraine international dilemma.
