• Select a real-life company and briefly describe its operations in terms of products made or services provided
• Describe whether job order costing or process costing is the better method to track the costs incurred by this company.
• Describe how any overhead should be tracked and allocated and comment on what makes more sense given the product or service they provide and the practicality of tracking the costs.

Do not select a merchandiser (a retailer). For example, the companies that came to mind for many of you were Amazon, Walmart, Target, or Best Buy these are all merchandisers who buy the finished product to resell.
