Identify a job that you would like to use for this exercise. The best job choice for this exercise is one that will have some KSA’s that could be tested during the selection process.

Prepare a list or a chart of the main KSA’s for the job identified above.

Determine which of the KSA’s you should assess the candidates for prior to making a selection decision. Explain why you would test for those specific KSA’s.  How could the testing benefit the selection process?

To move on to step 5, first explore the information on the recommended assessment websites. These organizations offer credible assessments and other recruitment and selection information. The recommended websites may not offer the assessments you need for the KSA’s you identified. So you may need to find other assessments on credible HR websites (the optional webpages might help).

Identify and describe which tests you might use in the selection process for the job identified above. Explain why you chose those assessments and how they would help you make a selection decision. Could any of these assessments help managers in the employee onboarding process? If so, briefly explain how. (I understand that in most cases, students will not see the actual assessment before you make a selection decision for this assignment. Make your selection based on information available.)

Look at the assessment experience from the candidates’ perspective. Assess and explain what you think the candidate’s experience will likely be in taking the tests you selected. Include the logistics (time, ease of use, and process) in your response.
