Self-evaluation on Emotional Intelligence (EI) For this next section, you are required to develop your own evaluation criteria, against which you will assess your El strengths and weaknesses. Evaluate yourself against the criteria and then ask your Supervisor for their perspective on your El strengths and weaknesses against the same criteria. To develop your criteria, reflect on your knowledge of El at its best in developing workplace relationships for collaboration, positive team culture and innovation. I.e., How would you or other's know you have high levels of EI? Develop three (3) to five (5) criteria of El that could observed/felt by yourself when interacting in workplace relationships, collaborating and innovating. Rate yourself against the criteria you have developed, to gain a snapshot of your El level currently. Identify three (3) El aspects you'd like to develop as a professional educator. Identify and analyse emotional stressors/triggers in the workplace. To analyse these stressors/triggers, consider what makes them challenging for you specifically (background, past experience, current additional stressors outside of the workplace, cultural or other diversity factors that could impact, etc.) By briefly analysing you will make it easier for your Supervisor to brainstorm solutions with you.
