After a thorough selection process, we have chosen Ian Manka, a highly qualified leader in healthcare Facilities Management within Common Spirit Health. Ian brings a wealth of experience, having served as NHMC's Facilities Manager from 2022 to 2024, and previously holding key roles at USC's Rossier School of Education and Viterbi School of Engineering. With 13 years in the field, Ian has demonstrated exceptional leadership in overseeing people, projects, and facility operations. During his tenure at Common Spirit Health, he has established strong relationships across the organization, earning a reputation for thoughtful leadership and strong analytical skills. Ian holds a B.S. in Business Administration from USC Marshall School of Business (cum laude) and has completed certifications such as the Association of Physical Plant Administrators Supervisor's Toolkit and FEMA Community Emergency Response Team training. Ian Manka will assume his new role on Monday, July 21st, where he will focus on providing visionary leadership to ensure the continued alignment between NHMC's local executive leadership team and NRES-FMEI.
