3.Develop policies and procedures.
You are required to develop draft versions of the following:

Work-Life Balance Policy and Procedures
Use the internet to find what other, similar companies have developed for these issues.
Keep in mind that these will be draft documents. They should show that you have researched the issues and are familiar with what should be addressed in the policy and procedures documents.

4.Prepare an employee relations strategy presentation
Before you can finalise the new employee relations strategy and the draft policies and procedures, you are required to conduct extensive consultation with the staff.
This consultation will be in two parts: a presentation to the staff who are able to attend, and a written submission to those staff who are not.
Using PowerPoint (or another presentation program, develop a presentation that will last for about 20 minutes.
The presentation should include a summary of the Strategic Plan's objectives and how they relate to the Employee Relations Strategy.
The Employee Relations Strategy itself should be summarised, as should the Policies and Procedures that you are developing.
Ensure that you ask the audience for their feedback and include this in the revised versions of these documents.
Your presentation should include graphics and images wherever appropriate to hold the interest of the audience.

6.Provide information and training session
Prior to delivering the presentation, make sure that you practice your delivery, so you are well prepared. You will be assessed on your presentation technique as well as the content of your presentation.
Your assessor will organise at least two other students to attend the information and training session in the role of staff members.
At the end of the presentation, you must also provide the opportunity for your audience to answer questions. Take notes on the feedback given to guide revisions to your Employee Relations Strategy.
During and after the presentation you will be required to demonstrate effective communication skills including:
Speaking clearly and concisely
Using non-verbal communication to assist with understanding
Asking questions to identify required information
Responding to questions as required
Using active listening techniques to confirm understanding
