Setting goals and making resolutions! Some of us do this at the end of the year to make positive changes in the New Year. But have you thought about writing your own personal vision and mission statement? A vision and mission statement is a paragraph that captures/summarizes everything you would like to be, do, and have in your career.

It defines what success and excellence look like to you. It expresses your vision for where you want to be in the future and it reflects your values, goals, and purpose and how you want to operate.

• Please discuss with your peers your personal vision and mission statement.

The initial submission should be 100-150 words minimum and is due by Wednesday. Remember to post/respond to two of your classmates by Sunday. The posting is intended to be a discussion and should be written in your own words. If you do research the topic, remember to cite your references if you use external resources and check for spelling and grammar errors.
