(Metro, 23rd July 2017) Sexist language and gender stereotyping do not only disparage, but can also lower the dignity of one group of people, usually women/girls. If it is left unchecked in Malaysia, these negative norms of behavior and attitude could be institutionalized and gradually become part of our social and cultural code. Gender equality refers to the equal rights, responsibilities and opportunities of women and men and girls and boys. It also implies that the interests, needs and priorities of both women and men are taken into consideration, recognizing the diversity of different groups women and men. As part of the corporate social responsibility, JD Sport would like volunteer itself to support gender equality. As the Promotional Manager, you are required to propose a Public Relations campaign to instill the right mindset of gender equality and women empowerment among the Malaysians. In your proposal, you shall: (a) Suggest appropriate target public(s) with details and a slogan; and (10 marks) (b) Propose SIX (6) tactics, based on the suggested slogan. (
