Sherry is an auditor.She had audited the 2020 accounts of Sutra Sdn Bhd, a small company operating in Muar. In the course of her work, she noticed certain disparities and alterations to the invoices. The Finance Manager, Rizal who was her classmate explained the reasons. Sherry then did not pursue the matter. Rizal was recently convicted of criminal breach of trust for misappropriating the company's assets.

Sutra Sdn Bhd has sued Sherry for the losses suffered by them. Advise Sherry on her position under the law.
