Shining Star Dance Camp operates a summer dance camp during the months of July and August for youths from 6 to 14 years old. Participants are charged a non-refundable registration fee of $45 each for the summer. Program fees for the two months the camp operates varies depending on the program chosen by participants. Monthly program fees are: $225 for the three-day Novice program; $250 for the four-day Intermediate program; and $275 for the five-day Advanced program. The following number of participants have enrolled in 2021: Novice program - 65; Intermediate program - 23; and Five-day program - 15. In addition to the morning dance classes, Bright Star Preschool offers a Lunch program where dance camp participants can stay an extra hour for lunch. Shining Star charges an additional $7.5 per participant for every lunch they attend.
