Summary of the key findings of the research

The research problem was that in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, many universities around the world have turned to blended learning as a preferred method of teaching and learning. According to Graham, Allen, and Ure (2003), blended learning has proven to be more effective in providing convenience and access to learning environments. This approach combines both online and traditional teaching methods (Usta, 2007). This study aims to investigate the adoption of blended learning from the students' perspective in universities in the United Arab Emirates. Previous research has shown that blended learning can improve pedagogy, increase cost-effectiveness, accessibility, flexibility, and facilitate revision (Brown, 2003; Graham, 2005; Osguthorpe & Graham, 2003). The research aims to explore the factors that influence students' motivation to accept blended learning (BL) in UAE universities, which will impact their satisfaction on the Blended learning as teaching and learning method possible to be adopted in their universities. The research objectives were to be accomplished to render potential research are mentioned below.

To understand influences of different factors on students' willingness to embrace blended learning (BL) as a method of teaching and learning?

To highlight the relationship between students' motivation to adopt blended learning as a teaching and learning method in their universities and their gender, academic majors, and levels.

The Quantitative Research methodology is beneficial for formulating focused and fast research procedures (Tambak et al. 2022).

1-Data Collection

Data collection techniques refer to the methods used to analyse and collect different forms of data in the research procedures. Secondary Data Collection and Primary Data Collection are the two different types of data collection techniques (Kumari, 2022).

2- Primary Data Collection technique has been used in the research by conducting a survey of the learners Primary data collection techniques such as interview, focus groups, surveys and questionnaires can be used for collecting relatable data from different participants in a research (Nowell et al. 2023).

3- Secondary data collection technique has been eliminated from the research because of the lack of data related to BL implementation available in the existing literature. Survey of learners from different universities studying for a minimum of two years has been considered to collect the data related to implementation and effectiveness of BL in educational sectors. Contrarily, the secondary data collection procedure has been eliminated from the research to collect the data and complete the research in the short time span of the research.

The research finding was a total response of 216. The female happened to be 128 and the male responses are 85. The responses showed that 67 people are preferring an extensive use of the web, but still some face to -face class time. While 65 suggested that classes should primarily be held in a face-to-face. Only 37 voted for fully online classes. Most of the responses prefers technology in classes. The responses impact positively on our research. However, more than 50% of the participants are preferring online classes and face to face classes. 93 participants have agreed that blended learning will increase students engagement and interactive online activities, multimedia resources, and collaborative projects. 103 responses said that using blended learning at the university will open an opportunity to them to manage their learning and personal needs. We can see from our findings that blended learning is highly possible to be conducted at the universities due to the responses we have received. 105 students have agreed that blended learning provides a flexible environment for learning and sharing knowledge.
