Spring 2022 Canadore College "Dragon's Den" Video Assignment Note: . Each week, eight students will be given this assignment for completion (4 students per video). This is an individual assignment. You will receive a grade out of 10. Instructions: 1) Watch the assigned video. 2) Do research on the proposed product including: a) company background; b) cursory review of the relevant industry, c) current status of the business. 3) Provide a critique of the presentation provided by the entrepreneurs. Include an analysis of things done well (product placement, competent and confident spokesperson, preparation, accurate financial information, etc.) and areas that didn't go well. 4) If you were a "Dragon" what questions would you ask that weren't covered in the video. 5) If a deal was made, do you view it is favourable for the entrepreneur. Why? Or Why Not? 6) If the deal was rejected, what could the entrepreneur do differently to get access to capital funds? 7) Answer any questions from your fellow presenter, other students or the Professor
