Should police officers be required to have a college education? Back up the view with why/why not of any research showing the benefits of the officers that do have a college education. Some point out educated officers have greater knowledge of the law, higher quality of on-the-job performance, improved problem-solving abilities, and improved communication skills, and improved interpersonal working relationships.
