Sillies (II any ) from parts c. and d. 2. Patrick has $48 to spend on hot dogs and chicken sandwiches at the UConn football game. The price of a hot dog is $8 each and price of a chicken sandwich is $12 each. For this problem we will assume that it is possible to purchase fractions of hot dogs and/or chicken sandwiches. (15 points) a. Draw Patrick's budget line. Be sure to label both axes. b. What is the opportunity cost of an additional hot dog? c. What is the opportunity cost of an additional chicken sandwich? d. Assume Patrick spends half his money on hot dogs. Put a dot at his consumption point and label it A. Now assume Patrick finds some extra money in his pocket and he now has $72 to spend on hot dogs and chicken sandwiches. (Think of this as a change in income.) e. On the SAME CHART draw a new budget line for Patrick. f. Choose a new consumption point for Patrick assuming that hot dogs are an inferior good. Label the new consumption point B
