Since the decision of kicking her out fails the ethical analysis, I would keep her in the team. This is because every decision I make as team leader must satisfy the ethical checks to ensure that every member in the team stands a fair and just chance when affected by the decisions I make as their leader. I will however takes some steps to deal with her act of social loafing to ensure that it comes to an end. First and foremost I would organize a team training and motivation session for all the members in order to remind them and explain to them the importance of team building, team management, goal achievements and the key role of every member in the group. I would then take my time and create team program and systems that discourages social loafing such as; Develop comprehensive rules of engagement. Assign each and every member individual tasks and responsibilities for which they will be directly accountable Introduce weekly meetings to go through the tasks accomplished by individuals.
