Usually if a company hires a freelance person, the company may not have the required skills to successfully recruit applicants. This leads to them not creating a budget that is within industry salary norms. As I mentioned earlier, I would have proposed the industry norm salary or at least close to it to the applicant from the beginning. That would leave room for negotiations. REFERENCES
