SMP is basically Symmetric multiprocessing in which multiple processes are running at a same time which often causes inefficiency the reason why shared ready queue will suffer in performance because the SMP causes data loss and shared queue shares its resources with SMP causing inefficiency and will cause more time and resources so that's why we don't use shared ready queue for SMP environment because it creates lot of performance related issue and risk of data loss is more than in normal ocassion
