Diverse teams may be more or less prone to social loafing, depending on factors such as cultural norms around group work and communication styles. In some cases, cultural values may place more emphasis on individual effort and achievement, which could lead to a lower prevalence of social loafing. However, in other cases, cultural values around collaboration and group harmony may discourage individuals from speaking up or taking on leadership roles, which could increase the likelihood of social loafing.

If I saw evidence of social loafing in one of my BBA course teams, I would first try to understand the reasons behind it and work with the team to find a solution. This could involve setting clear expectations and individual responsibilities, providing regular feedback and recognition, and encouraging open communication and collaboration. If these strategies were not effective, I would consider involving the course instructor or seeking additional support and guidance to help the team overcome the issue.
