Societal members and groups engage behaviors that can be categorized in four ethical categories (See Figure 1 below). Examples of behaviors that fall into different ethical categories are: spanking a child consuming adult-use recreational alcohol, tobacco, and/or cannabis in the U.S. policing practices toward black and brown people in the US moral policing practices in Iran implementing the Dobbs Decision operating an electric bike or scooter while under the influence of alcohol lying to a bank to get a loan engaging in business and workplace nepotism engaging in infidelity looting for food during war or famine
