Soda and junk food consumption have become a major health problem in the United States, leading to obesity, diabetes, and other health issues. In order to address this issue, it is important to understand the various theories and models that can be used to modify or change this negative health behavior. In this essay, I will discuss three of these topics/theories: prospect theory, bounded rationality, and the overconfidence effect, and how they can be used to modify or change the negative health behavior of soda and junk food consumption
