Software Testing Specialist

Job Description:

The software testing specialist tests new software applications, ensure accuracy and remove bugs if any. This position requires candidates who have a strong concentration and coordinate well with the team members and other software engineers. For this position a four-year degree is not necessarily required but to flourish in your career it is highly preferred.

Job Duties:

a) Visit customer sites to find out functional software defects.

b) Helps in product documentation through technical support and edit user manuals.

c) Review reports to check the defects and take steps to correct if any error exists.

d) Edit and support product configuration documentation.

e) Interact with team members to bring developmental changes and plans new products.

f) Lead projects and mentor team members.

Software Engineer

Job Description:

Software Engineer determines operational feasibility by analyzing various requirements, solution development and proposed solutions. A candidate for this position must possess strong quantitative skills, technical capabilities and detail orientation. He must understand application development and design process. The candidate must have at least a four-year computer science degree.

Job Duties:

a) Prepares documents and presents solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams,charts and code.

b) Find out the solution and installs it by determining and designing system specifications, standards and programming.

c) Protects operations by keeping information confidential. Ensures data security while developing codes.

d) Provides information by collecting, analyzing and summarizing various developmental and service issues.

Software Project Manager

Job Description:

The role of software project manager is to coordinate the software engineers and software testing specialists on all design projects. The software project manager must possess the ability to effectively lead and manage technical experts. For this position, a candidate must possess a four year degree and a strong technical competency along with five years experience in the same industry.

Job Duties:

A) He must have the ability to plan a project. His responsibility consists of project estimation, cost estimation, time estimation, effort estimation.

B) After estimation he must schedule for manpower and other resources.

C) He is responsible for building team structure and staffing plans.

D) He must have the ability to analyze the risks and take possible risk reduction plans to handle these risks.

E) Must have the capability to monitor and control the project.

F) Lead the team, motivating team members are his other job responsibilities.

A four year degree in computer science and five years relevant industry experience.
