Using the method of allocation, prepare journal entries to record the bad debts expense. (b) During the month of January 2017, a total of RM4,500 from the account receivables were written off. Prepare journal entries to reflect the elimination of the debt. (c) Refer to question (b) above, assume that ASB is using direct write-off method for recording receivables which are uncollectible. Prepare journal entries to record the write-off
