Sometime in the year 1993, Mr. Owusu, a renowned timber Merchant married Ms. Amma Dideeye who after the marriage ceremony became Mrs. Owusu. They subsequently gave birth to two children; namely Abena Owusu and Kwame Owusu. On 24th December, 2004, Mr. Owusu's Doctor informed him that he was suffering from insane dilution and therefore he needed to regularly visit the hospital for medical attention. On that same day, Mr. Owusu summoned his lawyer to with regards to his will. Later in the day, he asked his two best friends, Peter, and Bartimaeus who was blind, to witness the Will for him after he had assured them that he had signed his portion whilst in the bedroom with his said lawyer with whom he had had long years of intimate relationship. In that Will, Mr. Owusu devised his magnificent house with a golden bed, situate at the airport residential area to Avadada, his house help, in consideration for her love, affection and long service to Mr. Owusu whilst his wife, a politician was usually away from home. In the case of his wife and children the only devise made to them was the matrimonial home situate at Cantonments-Accra, which he built immediately after their marriage to serve as the couple's matrimonial home because, according to him, he had established a school and two factories for her which are earning her gargantuan income sufficient to cater for all their needs. He however gave her a brand new King James Version Holy Bible with instructions that she and the children were to recite Psalm 51 each morning.

On 25th December, 2005, when Mr. Owusu informed Mrs. Owusu of the content of the Will, she threatened to deal with Avadada as, according to Mrs. Owusu, she had been informed that the devise made by Mr. Owusu to Avadada was as a result of love potion made up of some herbal concoctions which Avadada had consistently added to Mr. Owusu's soup which, according to Mrs. Owusu, is the cause of Mr. Owusu's infirmity of the mind. The next day, Mr. Owusu decided to drive in his new Range Rover vehicle with Avadada to Gbiu, her hometown to avoid any tragic confrontation between his wife and Avadada. Whilst on his way, he called his wife on phone and instructed her to destroy the Will, as it had the potential to destroy his marriage to her. The elated Mrs. Owusu immediately set the Will ablaze. Thereafter, she called her husband on his cell phone to show appreciation to him only to be informed by Otafrigya, the brother of Avadada, that Mr. Owusu and Avadada had been involved in an accident and that when he got to the scene Mr. Owusu and Avadada were already dead. A few days after the burial of Mr. Owusu, the Registrar of the Circuit Court in the District informed Mrs. Owusu and all the stakeholders that on the day Mr. Owusu was traveling with Avadada he deposited a Will with the Registry for safekeeping and therefore it was incumbent upon them to appear before him to obtain copies after same had been read to them in accordance with law. In the second Will, Mr. Owusu had devised to Avadada the said matrimonial home. As was to be expected, Mrs. Owusu, in a fit of anger walked out of the Registry threatening to sue to vindicate her rights as the only surviving spouse of Mr. Owusu.
