Sondra immigrated from Russia to Brooklyn in 2010, based on her U.S. citizen mother's petition for her when Sondra was 10 years old.In 2020, she was convicted of possession of a loaded firearm without a license. She has a U.S. citizen fiance Natasha, who has stage 4 cancer. Sondra takes Natasha to all her medical appointments. Natasha depends on Sondra, but Natasha has also been violently abusive toward Sondra, resulting in Sondra obtaining several orders of protection against Natasha. Sondra also has a 4-year-old son Vladimir who was born in Brooklyn with a severe heart defect, from which he still suffers.
