Sophie, an art collector, contracted with Robert, an art dealer, to buy from Robert an original painting by the famous Italian artist Caravaggio for $750,000. The contract was made on March 1, 2020. Delivery by Robert of the painting and payment by Sophie was to be done on June 1, 2020. After March 1, Sophie suffered severe financial losses in her business affairs and was unable to pay Robert for the painting which had been delivered to Sophie on June 1. Robert sued Sophie for breach of contract and indicated in the lawsuit that he wanted specific performance of the contract. Will Robert be entitled to the remedy of specific performance?
