Question 1): international regulation of whaling.

The "International Convention for the Regulation of Whaling" (ICRW) is an international treaty signed in 1946. It has its own goals, and it created a specific organ to achieve some of them.

In a first (01) paragraph, mention the organ that the ICRW created; and mention which are the powers and functions of such organ.

In a second (01) paragraph, say which other organ you would create, and which functions you would provide to such organ, to better address the issue of illegal whaling.

Question 2): Illegal, unreported and unregulated (IUU) fishing.

Petrossian (2015) uses two (02) important criminological theories to approach the issue of preventing illegal, unreported and unregulated (IUU) fishing.

In a first (01) paragraph, mention the two (02) theories that the author uses in the article.

In a second (01) paragraph, say whether Dr. Petrossian concludes that these theories are useful for preventing IUU. Provide rational for your answer.

Question 3): Domestic animal abuse.

In her powerful article, Vreko (2019) mentions that animal abuse can be linked to interpersonal human violence in a variety of forms.

In a first (01) paragraph, choose and mention one (01) notion from the article that particularly caught your attention. You can use a brief textual citation, but after you have to explain it.

In a second (01) paragraph say why that caught your attention and if it is a problematic situation, provide a brief opinion about what tools we have to address this problem.

Guidelines:1) Overall length should be 160-250 words. 2) Organize the answer into two (02) paragraphs.

Assignment 02. Your answer to a peer:

Choose one (01) of the three (03) questions. Then choose one (01) peer that provided a somehow different answer to that question, than you did.

In one (01) paragraph, salute your peer and provide a short general comment about your peer's answer.

In a second (01) paragraph, analyze one (01) specific insight your peer provided, saying whether or not you agree with it, and why.

In a final (01) paragraph, compare your peer's answer to yours, and close with a general conclusion.
