The company employees 250 employees consisting of Omanis and expatriates in three branches located in Muscat. Assume that you are serving as a member of HR Team of Star Tech LLC for the past 5 years.

In addition to the above, the recent COVID-19 pandemic has hit Oman’s economy and the private sector hard, forcing companies to reduce the number of workers and cut employees’ salaries. As a result, there is a large outflow of expatriate workers from Oman. During the post-pandemic period, Oman’s Ministry of Labour has asked private sector companies to speed up the process of replacing expatriate workers with Omani nationals.
