State an example of a variable that follows a normal distribution. State one way knowing this is useful in your professional or personal life. Briefly elaborate on your example. Do natural phenomena such as hemoglobin levels or the weight of ants really follow a normal distribution? If you add up a large number of random events, you get a normal distribution. - What is a normal distribution curve? - What does a normal distribution curve look like? - What sorts of data follow a normal distribution curve? - What sorts of data do not follow a normal distribution curve? I selected option two and I would like to demonstrate my statistic knowledge on what I learned so far this week! A normal distribution shows how an experiment can produce a particular result which is described as a mound-shaped symmetric referred to as a bell curve. The bell curve is useful to determine home values, intelligence, heights, blood pressure temperature, store prices, and also as the video stated "flipping a coin several times". The normal distribution curve looks to have one hump in the middle and two symmetric values known as the mean. The sort of data that follows a normal distribution curve scores on a test given to a class. The data that doesn't follow a normal distribution curve is student grades which often have two modes, income, population growth, and mechanical failures. Normal statistic is useful in my personal life because it helps me with fincial planning and budgeting especially dealing with banks to find lower risk on borrowing personal loans. I need to respond to this discussion, so do I agree with this post, do I add to it? I need to respond can someone help me for a response to this post
