Hello Najja,

I really liked your discussion and how well you explained everything, it was very easy to understand. In my opinion, it is extremely important to conduct evaluations, these evaluations help see how well the agency is performing their assigned tasks and where they need to improve. Every mission is important to make sure is being achieved or that everything is being done in order to achieve it, and by this there need to be more evaluations to see where there can be improvement in order to make these missions successful. People need to see that everything is looking in detail and that they are taken into consideration when conducting a mission, to make everyone safe and a better place to live in. To successfully achieve the respect and trust of the community, they need to see constant activity to deliver better results. By conducting these evaluations we are able to see where officials need to improve and where they outstand and make a plan accordingly, therefore everything can be organized and everyone is placed where they need to be. If evaluations are not conducted we cannot see where we can improve and who needs more training.

Can Drugs be Useful?

We divide "drugs" into two categories: useful prescribed medications and dangerous drugs. These classifications are determined by how they have an impact on the body. Medicines are only effective when administered at the appropriate times and in the appropriate dosages. Aspirin, Tylenol, antibiotics, fluoride, and immunizations are examples of useful medicines. It is important to keep in mind that taking too much, or not enough drugs might be hazardous. Drug usage among adults, including marijuana, cocaine, methamphetamine, prescription drug abuse, and illegal opioids, is on the rise. Alcohol and illegal substances such as cocaine, heroin, MDMA, and marijuana are some examples of dangerous drugs. Different drugs bring distinct risks. While young adults aged 18 to 25 have the greatest rates of drug use overall, drug use among adults aged 26 to 49 is on the rise (Know the Risks of Using Drugs, n.d.). Since 2015, the number of adults aged 26 and over who use marijuana daily or almost daily has nearly doubled (Know the Risks of Using Drugs, n.d.). Cocaine use and fatality rates have increased; cocaine-related overdose rates in the United States have increased annually since 2012 (Know the Risks of Using Drugs, n.d.). Meth use is on the rise, and overdose fatality rates for people aged 25 to 54 more than fivefold increased between 2011 and 2018 (Know the Risks of Using Drugs, n.d.). The country continues to struggle with a prescription and illegal opioid crisis, with 81,230 drug overdose deaths reported in the 12 months ending in May 2020, the highest single year ever recorded; the majority of overdose deaths included a prescription or illicit opioid (Know the Risks of Using Drugs, n.d.). Drug usage can result in dependence and addiction, injury and accidents, health difficulties, sleep disorders, and other concerns. Prescribed drugs have beneficial effects such as pain relief, blood sugar control, blood pressure reduction, or infection treatment making them useful. The medications you take, whether prescribed or over the counter, have a significant impact on your general health. Given this information, it is difficult to conclude whether or not pharmaceuticals are effective because, while certain drugs benefit people's health, some people abuse the medications, resulting in major difficulties. Then there are street drugs, which are hazardous narcotics that kill thousands of people each year. Drugs not only have physical impacts, but they also have psychological ones. Drugs have a wide range of effects on society: they can transmit HIV, impair people's education or capacity to find work, cause poverty, tear families apart, and so on. Overall, there isn't much we can do about street narcotics. I feel that no matter how hard we attempt to keep illicit, harmful substances off the streets, there will always be a way for people to obtain them. I feel that medications can be beneficial, but only to a certain level. I believe we should try to control and regulate more of the drugs that patients take in order to keep them under control.
