For this project I'm giving you a fair amount of freedom to work the project as you see fit. The idea is to compare the pricing of white T-shirts for men and women. I've started you off by collecting data from ten different stores (data is now over a year old, but use it as if it is current). At each store I tried to locate two similar shirts, one for men and one for women. I've taken sale pricing into account when available. There may be a difference in the shirts from store to store, but I've tried to keep them similar within each store. This project relates directly to what we've completed in recent sections on hypothesis testing (Chapter 11 two populations). You will need to state an appropriate Null and Alternative hypothesis. Use one of the common levels of significance of .1, .05, or .01 for your analysis. You have the option to choose between a 1-tail and 2-tail test, but must discuss your reasoning/results appropriately. You should add a minimum of 5 samples to what I've already given you (online pricing is fine). Remember, if you stay below 30 samples you're making an assumption about the population, what is it? I expect a one page write up (no more than 2 pages) including all relevant statistical values and results (/ don't need to see all your calculations), your stated hypotheses and your conclusion.
