Your friend Micah has just started a research assistantship position in a psychology lab that studies alcohol consumption and addiction. His supervisor would like him to collect participants for 3 different studies and tells him that there is a sampling method that will work best for each of the 3 studies. Below are brief descriptions of the 3 studies for which Micah needs to collect participants. For each description, identify the sampling method that would likely work best, state whether your identified method is a probability or non-probability method, and justify your choice.

a) Study 1: The psychology lab would like to investigate the effect of a clinical intervention on alcohol abuse among individuals with chronic pain

b) Study 2: The psychology lab is interested in determining average alcohol consumption levels among undergraduate students, but also wants to know if these levels change in each year of undergraduate studies.

c)Study 3: The psychology lab wants to test the general public's attitudes towards individuals experiencing alcoholism based on whether they are well-dressed or not. Participants will be shown images of individuals who are either dressed in business attire or in casual attire in a randomized order and asked to rate each individual's likelihood of experiencing alcohol dependency on a 7-pt Likert scale.
