Steam can be used as an effective means to transfer heat to surrounding systems. We consider a radiator,
which is used to heat a greenhouse.
Steam enters the radiator at p=1atm and T=120 Centigrade (stream 1). In order to avoid corrosion of the
radiator a second stream of liquid water containing a small amount of anti-corrosive substances is entering
the radiator as well. This stream 2 enters with a rate of 5kgmin and it is at 25C and 1atm. Outlet stream 3
is liquid water at 1atm and 40 Centigrade.
Calculate the amount of steam needed (in kgmin) if the radiator transfers 1000kW to the greenhouse.
Pls, include all required steps required for the solution of mass AND energy balance problems.
