Step 1

Using the following, find a job or career path that interests you.

• Watch "A Journey Through Supply ChainLinks to an external site." (2:59).
• Complete an online search of supply chain-related jobs in your area.
• Use sites such as LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, or other career sites available in your locale. You could also go directly to a company website and perform a search on their job board.
• Some job titles to look for: Supply or demand planner, Logistics manager, Procurement intern, Warehouse or manufacturing leader, or Transportation manager.
• Research a few different job types and pay attention to the duties described.

Step 2

Prepare a report on one job opening you found. Include the following:

• A complete job description
• Required education and/or certification
• Possible salary range
• Reasons you would be interested in this position.

Prepare a video presentation. While preparing your presentation, please follow these guidelines:

• Plan a script of what you're going to say.
• It is evident if you wing it, that lack of professionalism will not only bore your audience, it will decrease their trust in you.
• If needed, create some visuals to support your presentation using PowerPoint or similar software.
• Record your presentation.
