Stephan has worked on the front desk of a Grande Prairie hotel for two years. He married Tyler a couple of weeks ago, and their wedding reception was at the hotel. A few days after the wedding, a long-stay hotel guest, who regularly booked rooms for his oilfield services company, approached the desk and told Stephan that he wanted to settle his account and cancel all future room bookings for his company. When Stephan asked for a reason, the guest said it was because "you people, with your parades and your rainbows, make me sick." The guest became upset and visibly angry and said that if he ran into Stephan outside the hotel, he would "beat the crap out of him." What steps should the hotel management take?
