Stevenson and Wolfers have a section called "Choosing Your Occupation." They list 5 benefits and 3 costs you should consider when deciding on what you want to major in. I want you to think about what you plan on majoring in, or a future job or business start-up you are considering. If you have no idea what you want to be when you grow up, make something up:P. Choose 2 of the benefits they describe and 2 of the costs they describe and explain how these apply to the future occupation you might have. Here is an example I might write for one of my 4 answers: "One of the costs Stevenson and Wolfers suggest I should think about is "Consider the Volatility." / have chosen to teach economics in college in part because college work is pretty stable. I could be making a lot more money in the private sector, but I am personally pretty conservative about risk and so I like the fact that I stay employed when the economy goes into a recession, even though this means in good times I make less money.
