Strategic Direction

• What is the vision mission and value statement for your NPO? Evaluate each of these statements against the following criteria:
  • Has management clearly described what it wants the NPO to look like in the future? Are these statements specific enough to provide managers with guidance in making decisions and allocating resources? Is it easy to communicate?
  • Is the NPO living up to their mission, vision and values?
  • Do you think the strategic objectives and strategies reflect the vision and mission statements? Do you think that the NPO is actually living up to the value statements? Are the specific policies and day to day activities of the company in line with these value statements? Or are they nice ideas but the company's actions don't align with these ideals? Provide examples to support your thinking
