Student Schedule: The lesson demonstrated the importance of time management. To make the most of your time, it is helpful to schedule activities in a student calendar. In this activity, you are going to create a own student calendar.

You can use the Student Schedule Template (attached above) or you can create one of your own. It is helpful to use different colors for each activity.

a. Schedule your class times - attendance is critical for a successful student b. Schedule study time - schedule at least 2 hours for every 1 credit (a 3 credit class requires approximately 6 hours of study time per week) c. Schedule any work hours plus commuting time d. Schedule time for family and friendships; if you have children, schedule in activities you attend with them and meals e. Schedule personal time for hygiene, exercise, house cleaning, doctor visits, relaxation, and so forth f. Schedule 7 to 8 hours each day for sleep

Guidelines

When you are finished, write a paragraph analyzing your schedule. Did you have more or less unscheduled time than you anticipated? Do you feel that you can stick to this schedule? Why or why not?
