Students are required to pass course-embedded major assessments with an overall score of 3.00 or better to pass the course. If a student scores below a 3.0 on a major assessment, no points will be awarded for that major assessment toward the final grade. Students who do not pass the course-embedded major assessment (earning a score of less than 3.0), but successfully complete 80% of the rest of the coursework including discussions and assignments, will be given an Incomplete (I) grade. Following university policy, students would then have 60 days following the last day of the course to resubmit the major assessment. Students must have attempted to complete the MA during the course to receive an Incomplete (I)
