Students from several tertiary institutions in Singapore, including SUSS, have gotten together to organise a concert to promote racial and religious harmony in Singapore, and around the world. This concert will be held at the Fort Canning Green with the permission of NParks. It is located behind the National Museum of Singapore, near to the Singapore Management University. About 1,000 participants and members of the public are expected to be there. It will be managed by student volunteers. Current plans of the organising committee call for a large stage to be put up at the bottom of the Fort Canning Green, where the audience can lay out picnic mats and sit on the lawn that stretched from the Fort Canning Arts Centre down to the stage. There are two walls on either side of the lawn but otherwise the venue is open for members of the public to walk in from the various footpaths surrounding it.
