Valentino has a beautiful pair of leather Motorcycle pants made from Kangaroo leather. He is off riding his motorcycle when stones are kicked up and damage his new leather pants.

Valentino takes the pants to a leather restoring company known as "Bronwyn's Leather Tights". When Valentino handed over the leather pants, he was asked to sign a receipt.

Valentino asked, "why am I signing this receipt". Bronwyn replied, "this exempts Bronwyn's Leather Tights from liability for damage to the zip and pocket linings". Valentino puts the receipt in his pocket.

The receipt actually included a clause which exempted Bronwyn's Leather Tights from any liability whatsoever.

A week later Valentino heads to Bronwyn's Leather Tights to collect the pants. The pants are returned with the leather ruined.

Advise Valentino as to whether He has a claim against Bronwyn's Leather Tights.

Note. This is a question on Contract Law. This is not negligence nor Australian Consumer Law.
